There are some good computers at very good prices.
I say “not cheap” because “cheap” implies a lack of quality.
In my experience, Dell Optiplex are reliable, solid business machines.
While your mileage may vary, personally I prefer refurbished machines.
Why?
It feels like anything that can go wrong already has.
I’ve found refurbished machines to be a great value, especially if you set up a simple cloud mirroring system so you always have a backup at your disposal.
In fact, I believe having a cloud mirror is essential for local businesses.

Dell Optiplex 7020 MFF 7000
This thing PC is … very tiny. It is literally ~7″ x 7″ x 1.5″ – and it’s fast. At $675 it is a great value.
Dell Optiplex 5060
This is reasonably fast, with decent storage. For $221 it’s a good price.
Dell Optiplex 3060 Micro PC
This one is small and inexpensive.
